Synergistic Therapies for Alzheimer’s Recovery
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for Alzheimer's
A specialized form of medical treatment administered by delivering 100% pure oxygen to the body through increased atmospheric pressure greater than 1.3 ATA in an enclosed hard chamber.
Genetic Testing
Here at Oxford Recovery Center, we look at the individual’s genetic variations that may lead to inflammation and disease. We target key genes vital for processes like detoxification, cellular repair, and proper brain function, and we create a detailed and customized plan for addressing the root causes.
Nutrition Coaching
Nutrition is a cornerstone of healing and recovery. During one-on-one Nutrition Coaching sessions, clients are taught to Eat for Health Building. They learn which foods support health, and which destroy it, and how to choose foods that encourage recovery.
QEEG / Neurofeedback for Alzheimer's
The Oxford Neurofeedback program evaluates brain activity patterns and teaches self-regulation of brain function through quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG). Also known as “brain mapping,” qEEG analyzes electrical patterns at the surface of the scalp.

What Is Alzheimer’s Disease?
Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. At first, someone with Alzheimer’s disease may notice mild confusion and difficulty remembering. Eventually, people with the disease may even forget important people in their lives and undergo dramatic personality changes. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia — a group of brain disorders that cause the loss of intellectual and social skills. In Alzheimer’s disease, the brain cells degenerate and die, causing a steady decline in memory and mental function.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen and Ginkgo Biloba Extract Inhibit Aβ25-35-induced Toxicity and Oxidative Stress in vivo: A Potential Role in Alzheimer’s Disease : This study shows how mixing hyperbaric oxygen with Aβ25-35 may help treat Alzheimer’s. The results of this study show that hyperbaric oxygen therapy reduces cell toxicity and oxidative stress in those with Alzheimer’s disease.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Alzheimer’s Disease : This article explains how hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help treat Alzheimer’s and how the treatment occurs.
- Influence of hyperbaric oxygen on serum estrogen level in patients with Alzheimer’s disease : This article shows how increased serum estrogen levels can help treat Alzheimer’s. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is proven to treat Alzheimer’s, and this may be because of the increase in serum estrogen.
