Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper Job Description:

Oxford Recovery Center is looking for a part-time bookkeeper with at least 3 years experience in the medical industry working with billing and insurance receivables. This individual must be able to perform with our team to maintain a friendly environment conducive to healing our patients. This role reports directly to the CEO and the directors.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

-Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask

-Must have experience working with an EHR/EMR

-Must have experience working with QuickBooks and assist with future software enhancements

-Any experience with Revenue Cycle Management software for medical billing

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite Applications

Primary Responsibilities

-Bookkeeping tasks and general accounting support: Daily deposits, Invoicing patients/customers, processing accounts payable and receivable, General Ledger Maintenance

-Bank and credit card statement reconciliation

-Bi-weekly payroll assistance

-EHR/EMR patient statement reconciliation

-Keeping track of Insurance Receivables

-Assist Senior Management with projects as assigned

Recommended Education:

-Accounting-Associates degree or higher
