General Description

A hyperbaric technician at Oxford Recovery Center is expected to deliver the hyperbaric therapy safely and effectively while contributing to an environment that promotes the healing and well being of patients. As Oxford is a growing company, technician jobs will be developing over time and the jobs description may not encompass all roles that one will lead at the company.

Working hours

4P.M.-close (Closing is usually 8:30-10:00 P.M.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chambers and related support systems and equipment.

Performs hyperbaric chamber and ancillary equipment operations and system maintenance as required.

-Provides a caring environment at the facilities that encompass a patient first philosophy.

Accountable for the safe delivery of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to the hyperbaric patient throughout all aspects of care.

-Be able to help patients move from wheelchairs, stretcher, walker, ect. to gerney.

Lifelong Learners encompasses professional development through formal education, professional certification, internal and external learning opportunities and recognizes the value of external professional organizations.

Supports onboarding of new team members and precepts as applicable.

-High School Graduate or Higher

-Certified or licensed as an EMT

CPR certified, ACLS (preferred) certified within one (1) year of employment.

Must possess good verbal, written, and electronic communications skills.

-Only EMT experience is required
