Kelly graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in social work in 1997. She worked with at-risk youth before working in the field of substance abuse for eight years. In 2003 she married her husband Ted and moved to his home town of Windsor, Ontario. Kelly completed a master’s degree in counseling from Oakland University in 2006. While living in Canada she had two daughters and worked for a non-profit with homeless youth. Kelly moved back to Michigan with her family in 2014 and was stay at home mom for two years. When her youngest daughter started school, she got her first job in the field of ABA and fell in love with it. She currently lives Royal Oak and enjoys spending time up north with her family.
